Reading, Writing, Comp101, Literature, English, LAL, ELA--- there are tons of words and acronyms that describe what I teach. Let's keep things simple. I am a Reading and Writing instructor. One area is not separate from the other. I have my BA in English from the College of St. Elizabeth. I earned a 4.0 GPA in my English major and a 3.84 cumulative GPA.
